Using expertise and monitoring tools to manage The Entrance and Tuggerah Lakes  Council actively monitors the conditions of the Tuggerah lakes and other coastal lagoons including The Entrance channel.

Central Coast Council is again joining forces with the Little Blue Dinosaur Foundation to help promote its important road safety campaign to help keep young children safe.

Anzac Day – Road closures across the Central Coast In commemoration of Anzac Day, Central Coast Council is supporting events being held at a number of locations across the Coast.

EOI opens Monday 20 March 2023 Thanks to support from the Office of Sport, Central Coast Council is seeking local sport and active recreation providers operating in San Remo, Blue Haven and surrounding areas to complete an Expression of Interest to join our June Active Fest event to encourage youth aged participants to reconnect with sport and active recreation and get physically active!Active Fest events are funded by the NSW Government’s Community Sport Rebuild, and Recovery package, and provides financial support, assistance, and participation opportunities for communities hardest hit by the COVID lockdowns.Active Fest aligns with the Active Central Coast Strategy which provides the framework for increasing participation in sport and active recreation across the Central Coast.

The recently upgraded district level playspace at Ross Park, Avoca Beach is already popular with locals and holiday visitors.

An ongoing road renewal program is in place by Council and delivers treatments such as preservation sealing, heavy patching, rehabilitation, and resurfacing.  Council crews are on the ground each week undertaking road renewal works - with Glen Road at Ourimbah nearing completion, and Bay Road and Eloora Road at Blue Bay planned to commence by end of February (weather permitting). Several other roads across the region are already planned for road renewals this financial year, including:
