14/12/2023There are hundreds of ways to connect with your community this Christmas and into the new year with our exciting line up of events and activities across the Coast:
Each term we run our popular school holiday program with free or affordable events and activities to entertain, inspire and keep kids busy!
Our jam-packed program has activities that caters to many interests and ages, which are delivered by our libraries, Gosford Regional Gallery, leisure centres, theatres and youth services, as well as other areas of Council such as environmental management, town centre management, tourism and more.
In the lead up to each school holiday, events and activities are listed on our 'what's on' page, where you can easily select the 'school holiday' category to show the full program on offer. Some of the events are extremely popular - so get in early to secure your place.
Two Christmas Eve events will be available across the Coast with Carols in the Park at Memorial Park, The Entrance hosted by JC Entertainment and Christmas Eve Carols delivered by Gosford Uniting Church at Kibble Park Gosford on Sunday 24 December.
You can also be in a chance to win $250 by voting for your favourite shopfront Window Display happening across Toukley, Wyong, The Entrance and Gosford making the Central Coast sparkle with Christmas wonder. Closing on 7 January with winners announced on 10 January!
New Year’s Eve in Memorial Park, The Entrance with a spectacular program planned for Sunday 31 December.
The huge family-friendly event will have something for everyone to enjoy including a fun-filled evening of live music, amusement rides, an array of food options and a spectacular fireworks display to conclude the event at 9pm.
A jam-packed schedule of community events throughout Gosford including a free shuttle service, Friday night markets, live music, public art and activations, running from Saturday 16 December 2023 to Sunday 28 January 2024.
Australia Day
Bring along your picnic rug and chairs and join us for the annual Australia Day community event at Gosford Leagues Club Park. The all-ages event starts at 4pm and includes live entertainment, food stalls and kids activities, as well as a fireworks display at 9pm.
