The Australia Day community event returns to Gosford on Friday 26 January, 2024 and will feature live entertainment, food stalls, kid’s activities and a fireworks display to conclude the night!

The all-age, event is taking place at Leagues Club Park from 4-9pm and is an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a picnic like atmosphere with family and friends.

There is a great line up of entertainment featuring Sybella, Jump, The Ritzy Kids and Joel Leggett, headlined by Bermuda Social.

The event is a family friendly alcohol-free event and a great opportunity for the local community to come together and enjoy food, music and fun in a safe environment.

Road closures will be in place and motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions in the CBD for the duration of the event, due to the following road closures and speed limit reductions:

  • Georgiana Terrace, between Dane Drive and Baker Street will be closed from 11am to the end of the event.
  • Baker Street, between Georgiana Terrace and Vaughan Avenue, will be closed from 6am for the duration of the event.
  • Vaughan Avenue will be closed to traffic from 6am to close of event.
  • Brian McGowan Bridge through to Masons Parade will have two lanes closed from 8-10pm. Drivers can still access the road across Brian McGowan Bridge during this time but there will be a 40km reduced speed limit in place.
  • Alfred Higgs Place, Graham Park will have no stopping signs and barrier boards in place from 6am to close of event.
