Lake Haven Library is currently closed due to flooding. Contractors are on site undertaking detailed assessments and necessary repair works. At this stage, the library is expected to remain closed for approximately one to two weeks, subject to the progress of works. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Keeping our community informed

Central Coast Council is committed to transparency, accountability and continuous improvement of its water and sewer services. Water and Sewer Delivery Plan (2022-26) and Progress Reports, Annual Performance Report, and online Quarterly Performance Reports keep our community informed of our progress, achievements and challenges. Informed by community feedback, these reports address our customer priorities and demonstrate how we are working to meet our customers’ preferences and expectations.

Delivery Plan 2022-26

The Water and Sewer Delivery Plan 2022-26 is central to Council’s strategy to deliver on our promises made under Council’s four-year Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) Determination. This plan reports progress bi-annually and focuses on three key areas: Accountability, Community Engagement and Asset Management.

Annual Performance Report

The Water and Sewer Annual Performance Report offers a yearly overview on water and sewer service and business metrics. This report for 2024-2025 evaluates performance across water quality, effective planning, reliable services, environmental focus, quality treatment and affordability. The report allows customers to monitor long-term trends and observe Council’s ongoing accountability.

Quarterly Performance Report

Complementing our Annual Performance Report and reflecting the priorities of our community, our online Quarterly Performance Report provides regular updates on key performance areas.

Each three month ‘reporting period’ illustrates results for each month and the covers key performance areas that our community were most interested in. Addressing these results is a key focus for Council, noting that it may take time before benefits and desired results are achieved. Data accuracy is a priority, and adjustments may be made in future reports to ensure reliable information.
