Council is upgrading the technology used within Gosford City Car Park, which will affect both casual users and permanent account holders from Monday, 14 January 2019.
Permanent Account Holders
- Collect your new access card from Monday, 7 January, from the car park office, located on level 1. If you are unable to collect your new card prior to 14 January, please enter the parking station on your first day using a casual ticket. Please bring this ticket with you to give to the staff when you collect your new access card.
- Read and sign the licence agreement – you can return the agreement when you collect your new access card, or alternatively simply scan and email a copy to parkingstationstaff@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au.
This new technology means that:
- You will be able to access the car park with your pass during special community events.
- Leave credit will no longer be available – this is because the new system does not support it.
- From Monday, 28 January 2019 you will be able to gain access to your car after-hours. Please read our Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
Additional information:
- Permanent account holders who forget to bring their access card will be required to obtain a daily ticket and have this validated at the pay station. You will be required to pay the casual rates if proceeding directly to the exit without a validated daily ticket.
- Customers who space-share will now all require access cards. A refundable deposit of $10.50 is payable for each extra card required. If you space-share please contact us at parkingstationstaff@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au or 4304 7509 to arrange this. Each additional card holder will also be required to read and sign a licence agreement.
Casual Users
From Monday 14 January, you will no longer pay for your ticket at the cashier booth. Instead, you will pay for your ticket one of two ways:
- by cash or card at the new pay station, located on level one, outside the lift. If paying at the pay station, please ensure you pay before returning to your vehicle; or
- by card at the machine at one of the two exit terminals.
From Monday, 28 January 2019 you will be able to gain access to your car after-hours by purchasing a ‘top up card’. Casual and overnight fees still apply. Please read our Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
