Various road treatments that cover the life cycle of the road are underway this week including:

🚧 Pothole works at Bateau Bay, Berkeley Vale, Bucketty, Bushells Ridge, Charmhaven, Chittaway Bay, Erina, Erina Heights, Hamlyn Terrace, Kangy Angy, Killarney Vale, Killcare, Kulnura, Pearl Beach, Somersby, Springfield, Terrigal, Toowoon Bay, Warnervale, Woy Woy  

🚧 Heavy patch works at Bateau Bay (Parkview Pl), Gorokan (Dudley St), Gwandalan (Kanangra Dr), Wyong (Donaldson St), The Entrance Boat Ramp Car Park

🚧 Road shoulder and median maintenance works at Central Mangrove (Peats Ridge Rd Interchange), Somersby (Peats Ridge Rd Interchange), Spencer (Wisemans Ferry Rd)

🚧 Road pavement upgrade works at Empire Bay (Rickard Rd), MacMasters Beach (The Scenic Rd), West Gosford (Debenham Rd S)

🚧 Road grading works at Somersby (Wirrinda Rd & Ghilkes Rd), Tuggerah (Lake Rd), Umina Beach (Various Laneways), Wyong Creek (Red Hill Rd)

🚧 Road resurfacing at Jilliby (Little Jilliby Rd)

Council maintains over 155 kilometres of unsealed roads. Unsealed roads typically carry low traffic volumes and service rural areas. Council road maintenance teams routinely grade unsealed roads by reshaping the roads surface using a grader to reduce corrugations and potholes. The sealing of unsealed roads is prioritised within Councils Capital Works Program.
