🚘 WEEKLY ROAD WORKS UPDATE 
We continue each week to roll out a sustained program of works to deliver road improvements and maintenance. Some of the road works this week include:

🚧 Pothole filling at Berkeley Vale, Chittaway Bay, Glenworth Valley, Gorokan, Holgate, Jilliby, Kangy Angy, Kincumber, Kulnura, Long Jetty, Matcham, Mount White, Umina Beach, Wadalba, Wyong, Wyongah
🚧Road grading at Bucketty (Great Northern Rd), Bushells Ridge (Tooheys Rd), Umina Beach (Various Lanes)
🚧Road resurfacing works at Empire Bay (Boongala Ave), Mount Elliot (Toomeys Rd), Shelly Beach (Grandview St), The Entrance (Oakland Ave), Umina Beach (Mount Ettalong Rd, Barrenjoey Rd)
🚧Heavy patching works at Gorokan (Astley St), Tumbi Umbi (Hansens Rd)
🚧Road pavement works at Shelly Beach Carpark
🚧Road shoulder maintenance at Spencer (Wisemans Ferry Rd)
🚧Road rehabilitation works at Erina (Erina Valley Rd)

DID YOU KNOW? 
Road repairs are prioritised by level of risk and traffic volumes, with higher traffic roads generally requiring attention first. 
For workflow and cost efficiencies, repair work may be undertaken on several roads in the same suburb around a priority site.
Scheduling of road repairs requires a flexible approach as new issues can be identified or reported at any time, and weather can impact which works are able to be carried out – which is why plans are adjusted each week.
