Umina Beach foreshore landscape improvements now completed
Umina foreshore reserve

The Umina Beach foreshore promenade (alongside the surf club) has been improved to create a more vibrant, sustainable and enjoyable space for both residents and visitors.

Council recently completed comprehensive landscape works to enhance the area, including:

  • removal of existing pavers to create a grassed area for relaxation and recreation - a perfect place for a picnic
  • planting of additional trees, which will provide for shade and contribute to a healthy environment
  • new outdoor showers
  • new connective pathways to improve accessibility

These works have softened the existing landscape and provide a greener space for relaxation and recreation - perfect for a picnic!

This project was funded by local infrastructure contributions (section 7.11), which are charged by Council when new development occurs.

For any questions on this project or to report any issues or feedback, please contact Council on 02 4306 7900 or online Customer Service Centre
