We know severe weather and other emergency events will continue to be a part of our lives on the Central Coast, and these can occur at any moment.

Regardless of whether you have recently moved to the Central Coast or have been in the same house for decades – now is the time to understand your current risks and create an up-to-date plan.

In partnership with a variety of local emergency agencies, services and organisations we're hosting a series of free webinars presenting seven topics to help you adequately prepare to take appropriate and safe action when facing an emergency event.

  Preparing for heatwave

Your opportunity to Get Ready does not stop there, with NSW RFS Get Ready Weekend and Red Cross Emergency Ready Week also happening this September. 

NSW RFS Get Ready Weekend is this 16-17 September. Many Central Coast NSW Brigades will be out in the community holding events and opening stations to support you to get ready with planning advice and tips to get your property ready.

Red Cross Emergency Get Ready Week 18-24 September. Check out the ‘Get Prepared’ app. The app serves as a valuable resource, providing information on disaster preparedness and access to a digital Rediplan.
