ChromeFest 2025 was nothing short of spectacular, drawing an estimated 58,000 attendees over three vibrant days — a 5.45% increase from last year! The event generated an impressive economic impact of $12.6 million, showcasing its growing significance to the region.

Visitors were treated to a dazzling display of 535 show cars, admired by crowds throughout the weekend. The atmosphere was electric, with over 20 bands performing across five outdoor stages and local venues, keeping dance floors packed and spirits high.

The weather was perfect, adding to the festive vibe as people shopped at on-site stalls, danced to live music, and soaked up the energy of the event. Standout new additions, the ChromeFest Trivia at the Waterfront Stage was a massive hit. Ten car entrants battled it out for the title of first-ever winner, while audience participation and a hilarious round of celebrity heads made it a fun and memorable experience for all. The dance lessons and dance competition were also very popular.

Locals and visitors alike declared this year’s ChromeFest the best one yet, with most accommodation booked out for the event and local businesses buzzing all weekend. Chrome After Dark drew a huge crowd on Friday night, and Saturday’s Jive event featuring Lance Lipinsky and The Lovers from the USA was a roaring success.

Behind the scenes, car clubs generously volunteered to manage the parking of hundreds of show cars, and Council staff from across departments came together to support this signature event a true team effort.

Council proudly hosts major events such as ChromeFest, which activate our town centres, support local businesses, and foster inclusive, welcoming opportunities for community connection and to attract tourism.
