Central Coast Visual Artists and Makers across various disciplines are invited to open their spaces and studios to the public, as part of Central Coast Council’s Creative Journey initiative to be launched in July.To be involved, you must complete an Expression of Interest form, with selected artists provided an opportunity to showcase their spaces and artistic disciplines to the broader community.

Local makers and creators interested in hosting an exhibition, workshop or installation at the Gallery container in Toukley, are urged to submit their interest to part of the Creative Spaces 2025-2026 program.Selected artists will be able to connect with the community through creative workshops, talks, collaborations with other artists and installations throughout the year.The Gallery Container will be available for use in 2025-26 for blocks as outlined below.1 July to 12 September 202515 September to 28 November 202512 January to 27 March 202630 March to 26 June 2026The space will need to be open for a minimum of four days per week for a minimum of four hours per day.To submit your interest, fill in the below form between 25 April and 26 May 2025.

Want to develop news skills, confidence and help accelerate the customer service experience for visitors and locals looking for things to do and see across our beautiful region?Central Coast Council is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) from local community members interested in becoming a Visitor Service Volunteer Ambassador at the recently revitalised Visitor Information Centre, The Entrance.The volunteer role has been developed to support staff in the new Central Coast Visitor Centre and will assist with providing information on the Coast and surrounds to visitors and the local community - enticing visitors to explore more and stay longer in the region as well as encouraging local residents to explore their own backyard.Interested volunteers should bring a unique and positive outlook of the Central Coast and have a good understanding of all there is to do and see across the region.By becoming a volunteer, you will develop new skills and gain experience, build confidence, and increase social interaction and community engagement.Candidates with previous customer service and basic computer skills are preferred, and the ability to work across the week and/or weekends with a fun and reliable team.We’re seeking residents aged 18 years and over who have lived on the Central Coast for at least 12 months.Find out more by downloading the Volunteer Role description here.If this sounds like you, email your EOI to brooke.longford@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au
