Forming part of The Lakes Festival 2023, the Light Up the Lake event will take place at Memorial Park, The Entrance on Saturday 4 November.

This includes an exciting firework display over The Entrance foreshore to conclude the event.

Caring for our furry friends

Don’t forget to keep a close eye on your furry four-legged friend, as animals are often scared of the loud noise fireworks create and they might try to run away.

Ensure your yard is secure and that your pets microchip details are up to date, so they can be reunited with you should they escape.

Parking information

Some key roads around event hubs may be affected on event days with delays due to increased traffic. - Please stick to the speed limit and remain vigilant for pedestrians (our events attract a lot of young families). Parking is available in nearby streets, the Duffy’s Lane multi-storey carpark, and Picnic Point which is only a short 10-minute walk away. Limited parking is available at the Memorial Park carpark, including several accessible parking spaces. There are also accessible spaces in the Duffy’s Lane multi storey carpark.
