One of the Central Coast’s most popular sporting and recreational facilities, Niagara Park Stadium, is set to host several major sporting events this month.

Kicking off the premier sporting schedule is the Football NSW Futsal Schools Championships starting today until 10 June. The Championships is one of the largest school-based, single sporting events in Australia, attracting over 50 primary and secondary schools from across NSW and the ACT.

In addition to showcasing their considerable skills, the event offers players, coaches and teachers an opportunity to network and share the latest in tactics and sporting techniques across a broad audience. The Championships is also a chance for social interaction between students and gives participants a chance to meet and mingle with futsal players from other schools, and make new friends.

The competition schedule includes:

Tuesday 7 June :        Primary (Kindergarten – Year 6)

Wednesday 8 June :   16 years

Thursday 9 June :       Opens

Friday 10June :          14 years
