Proud to serve as Deputy Mayor

I’m honoured to have been elected Deputy Mayor of the Central Coast and to serve our community in this important leadership role through to October 2026. Over the coming weeks, I’ll also be stepping into the role of Acting Mayor, continuing to represent and support our region.

I look forward to working closely with Mayor Lawrie McKinna and my fellow Councillors to deliver on the priorities that matter most to our residents.

As a Budgewoi Ward Councillor and resident, I remain deeply connected to our community and committed to ensuring that local voices are heard in the decisions we make. 

I currently serve on Council’s Economic Development and Environment and Planning Committees, providing advice and recommendations to Council on matters involving economic sustainability, infrastructure planning and renewal, investment generation, and the creation of local jobs and opportunity. 

With more than 30 years of senior executive experience across business, government, education, and not-for-profit sectors, I look forward to drawing on my leadership and governance experience while in this role. 

After my 12 years as CEO of Regional Development Australia Central Coast, I’ve recently joined the executive leadership team at Central Coast Sports College, supporting the College to guide its continued growth and to help young people in our region achieve both their academic and sporting aspirations.

I have also proudly chaired one of our region’s leading disability and aged care service providers for the past 12 years. Through this role, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and community connection, and I remain committed to building a region where everyone has the opportunity to participate and thrive.

The Central Coast has enormous potential. I’m excited by our future and look forward to contributing to our region’s success in my capacity as Deputy Mayor.
