🚘 WEEKLY ROAD WORKS UPDATE 
Various road treatments that cover the life cycle of the road are underway this week, with crews filling potholes (as the first level of maintenance to keep the road safe in the short term) through to longer term treatments such as heavy patching, road rehabilitation. See list of works below:

Road grading works at Peats Ridge (Brieses Rd), Yarramalong (Bunning Creek Rd), Somersby Wirreanda Rd)

Road Pavement works at Wisemans Ferry Rd, between Spencer and Gunderman

Heavy patch works at Lake Munmorah (Rosemount Ave & Azalea Cl), The Entrance (Boat Ramp Car Park)

Pothole works at Bushells Ridge, Chain Valley Bay, Killarney Vale, Lake Munmorah, Mannering Park, Noraville, Terrigal, Umina Beach, Woongarrah, Woy Woy

Road shoulder and median maintenance works at Central Mangrove (Peats Ridge Rd Interchange) and Somersby (Peats Ridge Rd Interchange)

Road resurfacing works at Jilliby (Little Jilliby Rd), Tuggerawong (Tuesday St), Warnervale (Virginia Rd)

Road pavement upgrade works at MacMasters Beach (Scenic Rd), West Gosford (Debenham Rd S)

DID YOU KNOW? 
Council Officers routinely inspect the road and drainage network and associated infrastructure, such as line marking, signage, guardrail, street furniture, with any defects identified scheduled for repairs in accordance with our current service levels and on a priority risk basis.

When a defect is identified it is captured in Council’s electronic Maintenance Management System and is prioritised on a risk basis in consideration of the defect severity to allow for efficient and effective maintenance activity planning.
