A large-scale, externally run event (Rolling Sets) is being held at The Entrance Memorial Park Saturday 7 December 2024, 11am-10pm. 

As this is not a Council run event, please direct any event enquiries to the event organisers via info@rollingsets.com.au.

What impact will occur to the local roads? 

• Memorial Park Car Park will be closed from 3-10 December
• Half closure of Coral Street from Duffy’s Lane from 3-9 December , with traffic being diverted out on Duffy’s Lane. Roads close at 6am, 3 December and reopen 6pm, 9 December. Full closure of Coral Street during the event days December 7 from 5am until midnight. 
• Entrance Rd to be closed from Marine Parade from 3-9 December, with all traffic being diverted left onto Coral Street. Traffic will be diverted to Victoria Av on December 7 from 5am until midnight.
• Marine Parade to be closed from The Entrance Rd to Beach Street on 7 December. Roads close at 5am and reopen 12am.
• Half closure of Beach Rd from Ocean Parade on 7 December from 5am to midnight.

During these times only residents and businesses will have access to the above roads. All residents and businesses have received letters from the Rolling Sets event organisers (via letterbox drops) advising of impact to roads, and their access throughout the week commencing 2 December, and on event day.  

Where can I park?

Memorial Park car park will be closed as identified above. Visitors to The Entrance are able to park in Coral Street Car Park and Denning Street Car Park.

Will there be access to Memorial Park?

There will be no public access to Memorial Park from 4 December as all major infrastructure for the event is being brought in and out of the site. The Visitor Centre will still be accessible in Memorial Park from the 4-6 December and 8-10 of December. 

Is there access to a temporary Visitor Information Centre during the event?

There will be a temporary pop-up Visitor Information Centre located at the Waterfront Plaza (see illustrative map below). There will be direction signage throughout the town centre to advise where it will be located. Find out more about our Visitor Information Centre.
