We are inviting residential and business customers to have your say on future water and sewer service improvement options, and what you would be willing to pay for those services.

We recently asked our community about their water and sewer priorities, and discovered your top values—good quality water, quality treatment of sewage and reliable service. Now we need to know how you would like to balance future services options and prices.

This is your opportunity to influence your services and future water rates for our next pricing structure. By participating in our engagement activities, you can help to ensure your future services reflect your needs, priorities, and expectations. We are also working with industry and community groups to ensure that we hear from a wide range of voices from our community.

Why your input matters
Building on previous engagement activities across 2023-2024, new feedback will impact future service and water charges. It will also help shape investment decisions for the next IPART pricing proposal impacting services in 2026–2031 and Council’s upcoming Water and Sewer Masterplan. Price changes resulting from this consultation, in addition to standard price increases, will take effect on 1 July 2026.
