Free Pet Microchipping Day - Erina and Charmhaven

If your furry four-legged friend isn’t microchipped, how will they find their way home should they become lost? We’re making it easy for locals to microchip their pet by hosting a free pet microchipping day at the Erina and Charmhaven Animal Facilities on Saturday 12 November 2022.

You can have your pet microchipped for free, or update their registration details on the day, as well as gain access to responsible pet ownership advice, educational material, and pick up a 'Happy Pet Pack' of goodies.

Socares Central Coast Animal Facility, Erina (Pateman Rd, Erina 2250)

  • Saturday 12 November, 9am to 3pm.

Socares Central Coast Animal Facility, Charmhaven (2 Depot Rd, Charmhaven 2263)

  • Saturday 12 November, 9am to 3pm.

It's important to remember that microchipping and registration is a legal requirement when owning a pet and helps to ensure companion animals are reunited with their owners should they become lost. Microchipping also alleviates pressure on local Animal Care Facilities to locate owners of lost animals and rehome lost pets. This is all part of Central Coast Council’s aim to increase the number of identified, registered, desexed dogs and cats across the region.

No registrations required, walk-ins accepted on the day. If you have any questions or enquiries, email Sara Blanchfield at Sara.Blanchfield@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au
