We have completed road safety works on Mount Ettalong Rd, Umina Beach (near the intersection of Etta Rd), which have improved pedestrian movements and connectivity between the residential areas through to Umina Oval, Umina Beach, the nearby school and recreational facilities.

These safety improvements were sought after by the local community, and included:
•    widening of the existing pedestrian refuge to accommodate mobility devices, cyclists and those with prams,
•    footpath links, and
•    the formalisation of the angle parking in the adjacent carpark in Etta Road.

Further north in Wyong, we have also completed a separate project to improve pedestrian and motorist safety at the Alison Rd and Hope St intersection.  Read more about the Alison Rd, Wyong safety improvement project
