28/03/2025Central Coast Council has completed a car park upgrade at Don Small Oval in Tacoma, improving safety, access and parking capacity for local sports clubs and visitors.
The $592,116 project was finalised in March 2025, ahead of the winter sports season, and has delivered a new 2,500 square metre formal car park with over 60 marked spaces, including accessible parking. Pedestrian access to the oval and nearby amenities has also been enhanced, along with landscaping works to repair storm-damaged areas.
The upgraded car park better supports local sporting groups including Wyong Lakes AFL and Central Coast Cricket, while also improving access to the adjacent foreshore area.
This project was delivered by Central Coast Council with funding support from the NSW and Australian Governments under the Community Local Infrastructure Recovery Package – Community Assets Program, which assists in restoring community infrastructure impacted by severe weather events.
