Christmas On The Coast 2025

Central Coast Council is pleased to announce the return of ‘Christmas on the Coast’ this December, with a festive program of events and activities set to delight residents and visitors alike.

The region will become a coastal Christmas wonderland featuring twinkling tree lights, holiday window displays, carol singing and visits with Santa. From browsing Christmas markets and savouring traditional holiday meals to participating in interactive workshops, there's an activity for everyone to enjoy.

The town centres will host larger-than-life Christmas installations, with Christmas trees in Gosford, The Entrance and Toukley, and wreaths in Wyong and Terrigal. Free Santa photos, live entertainment and Christmas carols will also be available across the region. 

The much-loved Christmas window display competition will also be going ahead this year once more, with local businesses in Gosford, Terrigal, The Entrance, Toukley and Wyong getting into the festive spirit by decorating their shop windows. 

People visiting these town centres can explore the window displays and vote for their favourite via QR codes in the windows for a chance to win a $250 gift card. Voting opens 1 December 2025 and closes 2 January 2026, with winners announced on 14 January 2026.

• 1 Dec 2025 – 2 Jan 2026: Town Centre Christmas Window Trail in Gosford, Terrigal, The Entrance, Toukley and Wyong. Vote for your favourite Christmas window for a chance to win a $250 gift card!
• 1 Dec 2025 (Monday): Town Centre Christmas Decorations unveiled at Gosford, The Entrance, Wyong, Toukley and Terrigal.
• 12 Dec 2025 (Friday): A giant present photo installation opens at The Entrance.
• 5 - 24 Dec 2025 (Friday to Wednesday), 9am - 4pm: Christmas Container at Gallery Container, Toukley offers a giant Santa chair placed in a Christmas wonderland for DIY family photos.
• 20, 21 and 22 Dec 2025 (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), 9am - 1pm: Photos with Santa available at The Gallery Container, Toukley. Pets welcome.
• December 2025 (varying times): Christmas Craft on the Village Green, Toukley.
• 5 Dec 2025 (Friday), 5.30 - 8.30pm: Tinsel Time in Toukley at The Village Green.
• 6 Dec 2025 (Saturday), 5.30 - 9pm: Wyong Community Carols with fireworks at 9pm, weather permitting, Wyong High School, Wyong.
• 24 Dec 2025 (Wednesday): Christmas Eve Carols at Kibble Park, Gosford and Carols in the Park at Memorial Park, The Entrance.
