Overseeing the financial management and governance practices of the Central Coast Council

The purpose of the committee is to provide advice and recommendations to Central Coast Council on all matters involving the governance and financial performance of Council.

The Council Governance and Finance Committee consists of 4 (four) Councillors.

  • Councillor Wright (Chair and voting member)
  • Councillor MacGregor (Deputy Chair and voting member)
  • Councillor Crowley (voting member)
  • Deputy Mayor Eaton OAM (voting member)
  • Councillor Smith (Alternate 1)
  • Councillor Neal (Alternate 2)
  • Councillor McNamara (Alternate 3)

The Mayor is also a member of the committee and has voting rights. 

The Committee will meet quarterly on the second Tuesday of the select month at 7:00pm. The Committee may hold extraordinary meetings as required.

The committee meetings will be held in one of the function rooms on level 2 of the Council Administration Building, 2 Hely Street Wyong. Information about upcoming committee meetings is further detailed below. 

The committee meetings will be livestreamed. Members of the public can view the livestream of the meetings by visiting the Central Coast Council Live Stream on YouTube.

Members of the public are also invited to attend as observers. The Committee may close to the public to consider confidential items only as defined under the adopted Code of Meeting Practice and the Local Government Act 1993.
