Heritage Month returns to Wyong for 2024!

You’re invited to explore the rich history of Wyong town centre though an interactive Virtual Reality experience or an in-person walk conducted by Wyong Family History Group.
 

Walking tour

As part of Heritage Month, take a fascinating guided walking tour around historic Wyong learning about its establishment and development since 1887. The guided tours will be hosted by the Wyong Family History Group and will give you a peek into life in Wyong over 100 years ago.

When: Selected dates in April and May 2024.

Places are limited to 15 people per tour and registrations are essential. Find out more and book now.
 

VR experience

Drop into Wyong Town Centre (Alison Rd opposite Town Park) on selected Sundays to explore Wyong's rich history through a Virtual Reality tour. This accessible experience uses eye-tracking technology to immerse you in Wyong and allow you to explore hey heritage elements.

When: 10am–2pm on Sun 21 April, Sun 28 April and Sun 5 May 2024. No booking required
 

Self-guided tour

There is also a self-guided Wyong Heritage Tour that can be embarked on at any time! Heritage signs within the Town Centre direct you to a digital flyer or audio tour. Simply follow the signposted stops to help you step back into the shoes of locals in the 19th century.
