$8M Central Coast Footpath Package

Central Coast Council has secured $8 million in funding from the NSW Government to deliver the Central Coast Footpath Program enhancing active transport across the region.

The funding will support the delivery of over 10,000 metres of shared paths and footpaths identified through Council’s Active Transport Plans and community interest. These projects will be delivered over a three-year period from 2024/25 to 2026/27, enhancing connectivity and encouraging active transport across the region.

These projects enable the delivery of safe, high-quality and well-connected active transport networks for people of all abilities. Priority footpath and pathway projects identified within the $8 million Footpath Program grant funding package are listed below in alphabetical order by suburb name:
