$8M Central Coast Footpath Package
Central Coast Council has secured $8 million in funding from the NSW Government to deliver the Central Coast Footpath Program – enhancing active transport across the region.
The funding will support the delivery of over 10,000 metres of shared paths and footpaths – identified through Council’s Active Transport Plans and community interest. These projects will be delivered over a three-year period from 2024/25 to 2026/27, enhancing connectivity and encouraging active transport across the region.
These projects enable the delivery of safe, high-quality and well-connected active transport networks for people of all abilities. Priority footpath and pathway projects identified within the $8 million Footpath Program grant funding package are listed below in alphabetical order by suburb name:
