Central Coast Council gives the community the opportunity to apply for funding to support events, programs and initiatives. In the 2019/20 financial year, $1.7 million in funding is available for community projects via the Community Grants and Sponsorship Program. Applications for Round 2 of the following programs opens between 1 February and 29 February 2020:

• Awarding Sponsorship Program
• Community Development
• Community Events and Place Activation
• Community Infrastructure
• Heritage Grant Program
• Social and Creative Enterprise Grants

Note: there are limited funds available for 2019/20 Round 2 Community Grants Programs, especially for Community Infrastructure. Applications that are assessed highly by Council, but cannot be funded due to limited available funds, will be eligible for assessment in 2020/21 Round 1 opening during August 2020.

Grants writing workshops

Council provides Grants and Sponsorship Information Sessions and Drop In Sessions during the opening of both Rounds 1 and 2 in February and August each year.

Twice a year Council provides Grant writing workshops, including new workshops focussed on access and inclusion.
