Community Grants & Sponsorship Drop-In Sessions

Council is offering free Community Drop-in sessions for applicants in Round 2 of Council’s Community Grants and Sponsorship Program closing 28 February 2019. The sessions will allow prospective applicants to talk to Council’s Grants team and receive guidance on the grant program requirements, guidelines, eligibility and answer any questions about the application process prior to submitting an application.

Due to limited places per session, bookings are essential.

Please Note: Applicants are advised to read the program guidelines online and gather information on project proposals prior to attending a drop-in session. For fully booked sessions Grants Officers can allocate 15 minutes per project.

Grant Officers are also available for email and telephone enquiries before and after these session dates for applicants who cannot attend the sessions above.

Central Coast Council gives the community the opportunity to apply for funding to support events, programs and initiatives. In the 2018/19 financial year, $1.7 million in funding is available for community projects via the Community Grants and Sponsorship Program. See the links below to view more information on each program and submit an application form.

Applications for Round 2 in 2018-19 for the following programs open Monday 14 January and close Thursday 28 February 2019:

Applications for Community Support Grants are open all year round and close at the end of each month for assessment.

Community Development Grants

Grants to help deliver activities that foster a sense of community, build capacity within our community, strengthen our economic base, enhance the quality of life for local Central Coast residents and more.

ClubGRANTS

The ClubGRANTS scheme in the Central Coast's Local Government Area is funded by local registered clubs to provide community support through a Local Committee.

Awarding Sponsorship Program

This program provides financial support to assist in the delivery of initiatives that provide a measurable return on investment such as increased economic benefit or profile for the Central Coast region.

Chain Valley Colliery/Lake Coal Community Fund

A joint initiative between Lake Coal and Central Coast Council, this Funding program is designed to improve community infrastructure and services in Summerland Point, Gwandalan, Chain Valley Bay and Mannering Park.

Social and Creative Enterprise Grants

The Social and Creative Enterprise Grant Program supports ‘start up’ social enterprise and creative industry practitioners.

Community Infrastructure Grants

The Community Infrastructure Grant Program seeks to improve or build on new or existing local community assets.

Community Events and Place Activation Grants

A range of grants designed to support individuals, artists, community organisations and businesses.

Community Support Grant Program

Provides support for the community to deliver activities that require a small amount of funding and/or in-kind support.

Heritage Grants Program

This program enables Council to support and celebrate local history, culture and diversity across the region.

Stronger Communities Fund

The Stronger Communities Fund was established by the NSW Government to provide councils with funding to kick-start the delivery of projects that will improve community infrastructure and services.
