Public Notice: Central Coast Council Development Control Plan 5.54

    Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 21(1)(b), (2) and (4) and Clause 22 (1) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, Council has adopted amendments to Central Coast Development Control Plan (CCDCP), specifically by the adoption of Chapter 5.54 285-325 Pacific Highway Lake Munmorah Urban Release Area.

    The DCP Chapter applies to land shown in Figure 1.

    The purpose of the Chapter is to-

    • provide a high quality and varied residential environment with accessible local open space and access to conservation areas.
    • provide attractive streetscapes which reinforce the function of a street and enhance the amenity of dwellings. 
    • provide opportunity for a variety of housing types.
    • provide a self-informing, coherent, safe and efficient system of roads and pathways for vehicular, pedestrian and cycle movements.  
    • protect and enhance significant environmental features of the area.

    The amended DCP repeals the previous version of the DCP and will come into effect on the date of notification on the NSW Legislation website.
