Discovered and Battle of the Bands 2018 Sponsorship Expression of Interest

Central Coast Council Youth Services is seeking media and music industry sponsorship to partner with the Battle of the Bands and Discovered 2018 series.

This will ensure these professional development programs and contests maintain a high standard of opportunity and professional experience for young people to showcase their unique talent and to deliver services to connect young people to the Central Coast arts sector.

Expressions of interest close on 10 May.

Background Information

The Creative Engineers project delivers professional development programs to connect young people to the Central Coast arts sector.

The project has been developed to showcase young through a variety of projects. The program explores creative career and industry opportunities, enterprise development and event production in areas such as design, performance, film, photography, dance, visual art and music.

 

Battle of the Bands

A professional development series program that consists of a contest and a professional development program. The contest offers the opportunity for bands members aged 12 – 24yrs (of all skill levels) to participate and have a chance to perform in the Grand Final with a winning pool of prizes. The professional development component includes a series of workshops and industry talks.

Discovered

The Hub Erina's DISCOVERED professional development program series for singers and singer/songwriters aged 7yrs – 24yrs. The vocal professional development program series consists of a contest and a professional development program. Participants receive an invitation to return to the semi-finals and have a chance to perform in the Grand Final in December, offering a winning pool of prizes.
