Central Coast Council will be carrying out more upgrades to Gosford Leagues Club Park to enhance it usability for the community.

Located beside Brisbane Water, the park boasts picnic and BBQ areas, a playspace, and an open grassed area for play.

Earlier this year, Council improved the drainage to the grassed area as well as the accessibility to the tiered seating and BBQ areas by replacing the crushed granite with concrete.

In this next stage of works, Council will replace more of the existing crushed granite surfaces in and around the BBQ areas with concrete, as well as installing shade sails over the picnic tables either side of the BBQs.

These works will start on the week commencing, Monday 20 November and will be finished in time for the summer holidays, weather permitting. To minimise disruption to park visitors, the works will be carried out in small sections with each area being closed off temporarily as work progresses.

Central Coast Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to park-goers during this time.

Next year, Council will be carrying out more works to further enhance the inclusiveness of the park by adding more play equipment, replacing more crushed granite with soft fall or concrete as well as adding more shade to the area.
