Accessible Entertainment Venues – Expression of Interest (EOI)
Central Coast Council is inviting local entertainment venues to participate in a new initiative supporting disability access and inclusion across our region.
Council is developing an Accessible Venues brochure to help people with disability easily identify entertainment venues that offer accessible and inclusive experiences. This resource will highlight venues that prioritise accessibility, promote inclusive design, and support people with disability to participate fully in mainstream community life.
About the initiative
Council is committed to ensuring people with disability can enjoy entertainment, leisure and cultural activities with confidence and ease. Improving access not only strengthens community inclusion - it also benefits local businesses by welcoming a broader customer base.
People with disability seek the same social and cultural experiences as everyone else. By showcasing accessible venues, Council aims to make it easier for community members to find places where they feel comfortable, welcomed and respected.
Why apply?
Featured venues will:
- Be promoted in Council’s Accessible Venues brochure
- Help community members identify inclusive places to visit
