🚘 WEEKLY ROAD WORKS UPDATE 
Every week, we are committed to enhancing and maintaining our roads. This week, we have an array of road improvements and maintenance projects in progress:

🚧 Pothole filling at Bateau Bay, Budgewoi, Buff Point, Forresters Beach, Kulnura, Lower Mangrove, McMasters Beach, Somersby, South Tacoma, Terrigal, Umina Beach, Warnervale, West Gosford, Woy Woy.

🚧 Line marking at Hamlyn Terrace (Minnesota Rd), Kanwal (Walker Ave), Kariong (Woy Woy Rd), Norah Head (Bungary Rd), The Entrance (Norfolk St).

🚧 Road grading at Jilliby (Beaven Ln), Mangrove Creek (Popran Rd), Mangrove Creek (Oyster Shell Rd), Umina Beach (Various Lanes)

🚧 Heavy patching at Tumbi Umbi (Tumbi Rd), Wallarah (Bruce Cres)

🚧 Various road works also include road rehabilitation at Jilliby (Hue Hue Rd), spray sealing at Kangy Angy (Various lanes), road resurfacing at Lisarow (Cutrock Rd) and road shoulder maintenance at Spencer (Wisemans Ferry Rd)

DID YOU KNOW? 
Council Officers routinely inspect the road and drainage network and associated infrastructure, such as line marking, signage, guardrail, street furniture and vegetation, with any defects identified scheduled for repairs in accordance with our current service levels and on a priority risk basis.

When a defect is identified it is captured in Council’s electronic Maintenance Management System and is prioritised on a risk basis in consideration of the defect severity to allow for efficient and effective maintenance activity planning.

Residents are also encouraged to report any specific maintenance or safety concerns, such as defects, to Council for investigation by accessing Council’s online Customer Service Centre. Individual enquiries will be investigated by the appropriate Council Officer with a direct response provided.
