06/10/2022We are determined to help parents and supervisors with the challenging task of teaching learner drivers, to help make the experience of learning to drive a safe, positive experience for all.
For the second time this year, you can join in one of our free workshops at Tuggerah, Erina or Woy Woy libraries in November and receive practical advice on current driving rules and requirements for L and P plate drivers, understand how learners benefit from supervised on-road driving, and be informed on how to encourage positive outcomes through teaching learner drivers.
We are delighted to be offering three additional workshops in November, after a positive community response to the two workshops offered earlier this year.
The free workshops are designed to provide hands-on support to parents and supervisors of learner drivers and are designed to help in explaining highly complex road rules and other important information.
Young drivers are overrepresented in NSW crashes. Despite making up only about 15% of all licence holders, the crashes that involve young drivers (aged under 26 years) account for almost a quarter of all people who lose their lives annually on the roads.
The ‘Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers’ workshop is a two-hour workshop and will be offered at the following locations and times:
