Join CEN's Waterwatch and Wetlands projects on a Waterbug hunt and discover the magic of waterbugs - a favourite food for the platypus!

Come along and learn about the different types of waterbugs that can be found living in the waterways. The Water Bug Survey is a fun and exciting way to learn about your local waterway.  It involves catching bugs and discovering what lies beneath the surface. The presence and abundance of the different types of waterbugs can tell us about the health of the ecosystem.

A fun, interactive event for the whole family and the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day!

There are five Waterbug Hunts to join across three days at various locations. Please click on the Book Here link for further details.
