National Simultaneous Storytime

Monday, 17 May 2021 - 10:45am to Friday, 21 May 2021 - 11:45am

Each year National Simultaneous Storytime is celebrated across the country on the Wednesday morning of Library and Information Week at 11am.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

Central Coast Library Service is joining in the fun again this year with the selected book 'Give me some Space' by Philip Bunting being read at varied locations, days and time across the Coast during Library and Information Week.

Families are invited to visit the library during this week to listen to a reading of ‘Give me some Space!’ and explore other space themed activities, featuring:
