Everyone has a story.  The woman you pass on the street.  The man at the bus-stop.  The barista who makes your coffee.  You, reading this.
Laycock Street Community Theatre presents COASTLIVES in partnership with Bravewords: a live story-telling event where everyday people tell incredible true stories you don't hear every day.  In our third event, an incredible line-up of local Central Coasties share stories evoked by one word: Grounded – finding your centre, getting into trouble, stuck with no way home.

Join us for an inspiring, entertaining and heart-felt experience of oral storytelling - celebrating the beauty, connections and history that live inside all of us.

COASTLIVES: Grounded Storytellers

Therese Gabriel Wilkins had just five bucks and a suitcase when she started a new job in remote New South Wales.

Danielle Brame Whiting is an teaching theatre artist and mother who wants to talk about her journey to understanding success.

Kris Reddaway is a published poet and spoken word artist, who was found guilty at twelve years old while on a quest to stand out.

Debra Lansdowne descended into the darkest time after her father’s passing, then found herself experiencing a spiritual awakening that turned her life around..

Jacqueline Wright spent the earlier part of her life railing against being grounded and the later half trying to regain her equilibrium. A simple lesson in geology taught her that there are more to rocks than meet the eye.
