A free community event will be held at Gosford with a range of entertainment and live music performances at Leagues Club Park, Gosford from 4pm – 9pm on Thursday 26 January 2023.

Guests will enjoy live music, entertainment, food stalls, plus fireworks display at 9pm!

  • Sports games (4.30pm - 6.30pm)

Administrator Community Pop-ups

We’re always listening! Throughout 2023 Council Administrator Rik Hart will be out and about at community events to hear from residents about what matters to them. 

The first opportunity is at the Australia Day Community Event from 5pm. Come down to the information tent and say hello, or ask questions of our friendly staff. Future dates for other Community Pop-ups will be announced on Council’s website in due course.

Road Closures

The following roads will be closed to vehicles on the event day

- Georgiana Terrace between Dane Drive and Baker Street will be closed for the duration of the event.
- Baker St. between Georgiana Terrace and Vaughan Ave will be closed for the duration of the event.
- Vaughan Avenue will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the event.
- Dane Drive between the roundabout of Brian McGowan Bridge and Donnison St will be closed for the duration of the event.
- Brian McGowan Bridge A 40km/h speed reduction will be in place on Brian McGowan Bridge from 8:30pm to 9:30pm

Accessible parking nearby in multi-storey carpark and Baker Street, accessible toilets, sealed paths, assistance animal friendly, water fountain, public transport points within 500m.
