Australia Day community event 2026 - Gosford

Our Australia Day community events for 2026 return to Gosford and will feature free live entertainment, family-friendly activities, delicious food trucks, all finishing with a spectacular fireworks display.

These inclusive events are family friendly, alcohol-free and a great opportunity for the local community to come together and enjoy food, music and fun in a safe environment.

Road Closures:

Please keep the following road closures in mind when travelling to Leagues Club Park for our Australia Day celebrations. Road closures will apply on Monday 26 January 2026.

• Georgina Terrace: Closed between Dane Drive and Baker Street from 11am
• Vaughan Avenue: Closed from 6am
• Brian McGowan Bridge: Closed for the duration of the fireworks
• Baker Street: Closed between Georgina Terrace and Vaughan Avenue from 6am

Parking and transport information:

• There is general street parking. Gosford City car park will be open (fees apply)
• We recommend using public transport where possible and allowing extra time for your journey
