Welcome to Laycock Street Community Theatre, we’re looking forward to you joining us soon.

Before your visit, we’d like to share some information with you to make your experience comfortable and COVID-safe.

COVID-safe cleaning practices

In accordance with the NSW Government requirements and Laycock Street Community Theatre's COVID Safety Plan, we have implemented additional cleaning measures. 

This includes but is not limited to regular touch-point cleansing and disinfecting, before, during and after your visit.

Upon arrival

Doors will open 45 minutes before the event begins, we ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the event to allow time to QR Code check in to the NSW Service App and be seated comfortably to enjoy the performance. Our staff will be on hand to assist with check-in.

Please practise social distancing and adhere to signs, floor markings and advice from our team to keep everyone COVID-safe.

Use the hand sanitising stations as you arrive and during your experience using the hand sanitiser provided throughout our venue.

We encourage you to download the COVID Safe App to help stop the spread, have the App active on your device during you visit.

Compulsory digital check in

Have your mobile phone ready when you arrive to use the QR code at the venue entry, Theatre staff will be present to assist with check-in. 

Every person is required to digitally check in and show the verification tick to our staff. Patrons without a mobile phone will be digitally checked in by our team.

Bar and Kiosk

The Theatre bar and kiosk is open 45 minutes prior to the show, where you can purchase from a selection of soft drinks, snacks and alcoholic beverages which you can take with you into the auditorium to enjoy in your seat. Hot drinks and food are not permitted in the auditorium.

At the conclusion of the event

Please continue to practise social distancing upon leaving our venue. We encourage you to return to your vehicle and avoid congregating inside or outside the venue.

Ticket exchanges/refunds  

In line with NSW Government advice, if you are feeling unwell, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, awaiting COVID test results, or have recently returned from overseas or a COVID Hotspot, please do not attend the theatre.

You will be able to receive a credit/gift certificate for the value of the ticket for use at Laycock Street Community Theatre (valid for three years).

Please contact our Box Office by email or by telephone – laycockstreettheatre@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au or 02 4323 3233 – no later than four hours prior to the commencement of the performance. Alternatively, you can give your ticket to someone else to attend the event.

If an event is cancelled or rescheduled due to COVID-19, the ticket buyer will be entitled to exchange their ticket to the new event date or receive a full refund when they are contacted by our Box Office team at the time of cancellation.

Terms and conditions

Laycock Street Community Theatre works within the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice. Tickets are not refundable and cannot be exchanged except as set out in the LPA Code of Practice for Event Ticketing in Australia.
