In response to COVID-19 virus, we have suspended the delivery of all library programs, events and outreach services until at least 30 April 2020. This includes our Home Library Service, Bookmobile, School Holiday Program and temporary closure of Gwandalan Library Link. We apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Central Coast Library Service provides a number of early literacy programs and activities for families - designed to promote reading, literacy, life-long learning and build a positive connection with libraries.
Our popular Babytime, Toddlertime and Storytime sessions run at most library locations during the school term. They do not run on NSW public holidays.
All children attending preschool programs must be supervised by a responsible adult for the duration of the program and their visit to the library.
Programs are free and bookings are not required. Siblings are most welcome.
The information on this page may not be correct during this unprecedented health event. Essential services are still being provided to the community, however many Council services and programs have been placed on hold while facilities and some open spaces are closed.
Our COVID-19 information area details all impacts to Council services, facilities and programs as well as the local response to coronavirus.
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by adult caregivers while visiting the library. For more information talk to library staff or call 4304 7500.
