Road and drainage projects

Council is committed to providing key roads and drainage infrastructure across the Central Coast.

This includes full road reconstructions, road pavement works, kerb and gutter, footpaths and shared pathways, bus stop improvements, bridge works, drainage installations, and other improvement works.

Central Coast Council’s road and drainage Capital Works Program forms part of Council’s Operational Plan. The program includes projects that involve full road reconstructions, road pavement works, kerb and gutter, footpaths and shared pathways, bus stop improvements, bridge works, drainage installations and various other improvement works.

In the 2018/19 financial year, Council will deliver 574 projects, representing an investment of over $70 million. This investment is aimed at addressing one of your priorities – the conditions of our roads.

All of Central Coast Council’s road and drainage capital works projects are included in the interactive map below. Individual pins within this map provide details of Council’s projects, such as the project description, timing and duration, and provide a progress update on projects that are currently underway.

To find works within your street or suburb, simply scroll through the map, zoom in and click on a pin to view project details.

If you require additional information on a particular project, please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre on 4325 8222 or email ask@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au. If you wish to enquire or submit a request for road and/or drainage upgrade that is not currently scheduled within Council’s capital works program, please provide a written submission to Council or email ask@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au.
