Council's role 

We inspect and license food premises to ensure that retail food is safe for consumption. We support business success by offering essential information on your legal obligations as a food business.

Complaints 

If you have a complaint about a food business or a public health premises, including beauty salons, public swimming pools or funeral homes, call Customer Contact on 02 4306 7900.

Food related complaints can be referred to Council or to the NSW Food Authority. Food borne illness can be reported directly to Council or the NSW Food Authority Contact Centre on 1300 552 406.
