COVID-19 Update

The information on this page is subject to change and may not be correct during this unpreceded health event.

Our COVID-19 information area details all impacts
to Council services, facilities and programs as well as the local response to coronavirus. Please go to this area of our website to view current changes relating to Council’s waste management services and facilities.

Council’s priority during the evolving situation of COVID is the health and safety of staff and the community. Essential services are still being delivered in line with Public Health Orders. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all navigate these difficult circumstances.

Please refer to NSW Health for full details on the Public Health Orders. For the latest NSW Government updates, alerts and restrictions about COVID, please visit the NSW Government’s information hub.

To ensure everyone has access to a good read, our Mobile Library visits selected nursing homes and community stops across the Central Coast to connect and engage communities unable to readily access branch libraries. The Mobile Library helps to ensure everyone has access to lifelong learning resources as well as recreational reading, listening and viewing material.

Members can reserve library items and select the Mobile Library as their collection point, which can now also be done via our Library App. There is no separate Mobile Library collection with the items for borrowing rotated regularly to ensure there is always something new to borrow.

The timetable is reviewed quarterly and is available below, or from any library branch.

To express interest in adding a location to the timetable, please email library@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au.

Please note the Mobile Library is returning with a reduced timetable with no stops for schools or childcare facilities following a break during the COVID-19 closures. The timetable will be reviewed in line with changing health guidelines as required.
