Mini refurbishments will be carried out at The Entrance, Gosford and Bateau Bay Libraries during March.

The works at The Entrance and Bateau Bay Libraries will include fresh paint and/or carpet. People with breathing issues or allergies are encouraged to visit other nearby libraries for a few days after reopening as there may be residual dust and a smell of adhesives.

Works at The Entrance have been completed, though Bateau Bay Library will be closed from 5.30pm Friday 20 March, reopening 9.00am Tuesday 24 March 2020.

Gosford Library facilities will be disrupted for repainting of some interior features to maintain the appeal of the building, which start this week. Even though painting in public spaces will be done out of opening hours, there may be strong paint smells in the branch and we encourage people with breathing issues or allergies are encouraged to visit nearby libraries during this period.

In response to the COVID-19 virus we have suspended the delivery of all library programs, events and outreach services until at least Thursday 30 April 2020 to help protect the health and well-being of our community.

This includes our home library service, Bookmobile, JP Services, Family and Local History consultations and school holiday program. Gwandalan Library Link will also be temporarily closed until 30 April.

The remainder of our library branches will continue to operate for now.

We understand you may not visit our libraries as health officials encourage us all to participate in social distancing. As such, we have extended all current loans until Thursday 30 April. Return chutes will be open 24/7 for those preferring not to enter the branches.

As always, our extensive range of free online resources and services are available 24/7, via our new app or online at centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/libraries
