Shop second-hand treasures across the Coast on Garage Sale Trail weekend
Tuesday, 17 November 2020
There is nothing better than scoring a bargain, especially as Christmas season approaches, and there are plenty of quirky and wonderful sales across the Central Coast for this year’s Garage Sale Trail on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November.
The national, multi-award-winning community and sustainability event is gearing up to be one of the best yet. With over 400,000 people expected to participate across 16,000 garage sales nationally.
There are lots of physical sales happening across the Central Coast over Garage Sale Trail weekend, with more than 290 sales registered so far.
To make the deal even sweeter, 2020 marks the first time that Australians can participate in Garage Sale Trail online with many sellers opting to host their sales via Facebook Live or Instagram, meaning you can shop the Trail from the comfort of your home this year. This virtual garage sale option is aimed at both keeping people COVID-safe and also assisting you in finding the most amazing pre-loved items possible – no matter your location. Physical sales have COVID safety measures and guidelines in place.
Aside from being a fantastic opportunity to stock the Christmas stockings with second-hand treasures, Garage Sale Trail also reduces a tonne of waste. It is predicted that over two million items are to be listed and diverted from landfill this year, making Garage Sale Trail a win for your wallet and for the planet too!
