We are taking precautionary measures to protect staff and the community against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). As such we have made the unfortunate decision to suspend this event.

We encourage you to stay up-to-date with the latest information and advice from NSW Health www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/diseases/Pages/coronavirus.aspx

Or visit www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/council/news/helpful-information-on-covid-19 for the latest information on interruptions to Council events and Services.

As part of our commitment to provide welcoming spaces for our community to utilise, we will be painting both the foyer and children’s and youth room at Woy Woy Library.

Refreshing the paintwork in these areas will provide a bright and inviting space for our community to enjoy.

Works have been planned to ensure as little disruption as possible and Woy Woy Library will continue to operate as usual while improvements are made. Even though there will be a lot of activity around the entry, we can assure you Work Health and Safety measures will be followed for your safety while works take place.

Painting will commence once Woy Woy Library closes on Saturday 22 February, however, workers will be on site preparing the space before this. Painting may continue into the week.

We are encouraging anyone with breathing issues or allergies to visit either Umina or Gosford branches between Monday 24 and Friday 28 February as there may be paint fumes.

Storytime on Monday 24 and Wednesday 26 February at 10.30am, and Toddlertime on Tuesday 25 February at 9.45am will still be held in the Spike Room.

Alternatively, families that have children with sensory or breathing issues may wish to attend a session at another branch. Umina Library also Toddlertime on Mondays at 10.45am and Storytime, on Tuesday and Thursday at 10.30am.

A small collection of picture books will also be made available for families to browse and borrow.

As always, our extensive range of free online resources and services are available 24/7, including children’s eBooks, eAudiobooks, online for kids programs, music streaming and more, via or new app or online at centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/libraries

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience during this time.
