Mayoral Minute
The Mayoral Minute announcing the formal closure of the Performance Improvement Order (PIO) issued in September 2024 by the NSW Minister for Local Government was received and accepted by Council.
Key Enabling Regional Projects document
Council endorsed the Central Coast Key Enabling Regional Projects – April 2026 document, which will be used for advocacy and shared with governments and their agencies, regional bodies and other appropriate groups to attract funding for infrastructure projects and support growth in the region.
Red Bin Waste Collection service – planning for the future
In considering the future Food Organics and Garden Organics services, Council adopted the recommendation to include the option of a weekly Red Bin waste collection service, and the option to opt into a fortnightly Red Bin collection service, as part of the tender process for the upcoming collection contract – noting it was important a decision was made now about what is included in the next tender to help inform costs.
Draft Walking, Wheeling and Cycling Strategy
The draft Walking, Wheeling and Cycling Strategy, which consolidates previous active transport plans, and extensive engagement, was endorsed by Council to go on public exhibition for no less than 28 days.
Adopt a Verge Program report
The Adopt a Verge Program report was considered and further work will now be done in progressing designing a final program.
Community Support Grant program
Council approved $22,448.50 for community groups through Council’s Community Support Grant program
