Budgewoi and East Gosford new skatepark concept designs

The skateparks at Halekulani Oval, Budgewoi and Hylton Moore Oval, East Gosford are ready for a refresh! 

You recently told us about your ideas on the style, layout and features that you wanted to see in the new skateparks.

Specialist skatepark designers have used your feedback to develop concept designs and we want to hear what you think.

You’re invited to attend an upcoming workshop with skatepark designers to view the concept plans and provide your feedback. No registrations required, just roll on in!

• Workshops for Hylton Moore Oval, East Gosford skatepark designs 
  Location: The Erina Centre (Erina Fair, North South Rd)
  Date/time: Wednesday 22 April, 3.30-5pm and 5.30-7pm
• Workshops for Halekulani Oval, Budgewoi skatepark designs
  Location: Halekulani Community Hall (107 Noela Pl, Budgewoi) 
  Date/time: Thursday 23 April, 3.30-5pm and 5.30-7pm.

Can’t make the workshop? 

Go to yourvoiceourcoast.com between 22 April and 13 May to view the draft concept designs and provide feedback. The engagement summary and further information is also available online for both the Hylton Moore Oval, East Gosford and Halekulani Oval, Budgewoi skateparks.

Construction of the new skateparks is planned to take place during the 2026-27 financial year, beginning with the demolition of the existing skate facilities.

The design and construction of the new skateparks are fully funded by Council as part of an ongoing commitment to providing purpose-built, safe and engaging community recreation space
