We offer unpaid work experience for anyone undertaking educational training at school, TAFE or university as well as those from approved referral agencies.
Work experience placements are generally limited to one week but we will always try to work with applicants to meet the placement hours required by their course.
Not all areas of Council will be able to offer work experience opportunities and many are limited in available places. We'll always attempt to accomodate as many applicants as possible but demand can often exceed availability, especially during peak periods.
Work experience applications will only be accepted with appropriate insurance coverage (provided by your school, university or referral agency).
To be eligible for work experience placement you:
- Are currently studying (high school – Years 10, 11 or 12, TAFE, University) or registered with an approved referral agency
- Can provide insurance coverage (certificate of currency for Public Liability and Personal Injury insurance) from your place of study or referral agency
