Find out how to register to do business with Central Coast Council
VendorPanel supplier registration
We encourage all local businesses wishing to supply goods or services to Council to register with VendorPanel.
This allows suppliers to respond to requests for quotes from other local councils and state government entities.
Become a prequalified supplier with Council
We have a prequalified contractor register for commonly used trades and services.
- Prequalification is a process where suppliers of particular goods and/or services are assessed against a pre-determined criteria.
- Only suppliers who meet these requirements are approved and added to the register.
- Once on the register, prequalified contractors may be invited to quote for works or services valued under $250,000 (ex GST).
- Being prequalified makes it easier for businesses to access work opportunities, as long as compliance requirements are met and maintained.
The current requirements include:
- Established Work Health and Safety systems that meet Safe Work NSW standards.
- Workers compensation insurance policy that covers all employees working on Council assets. Or if a sole trader, income protection (to cover wage loss for at least 104wks) and accident protection (to cover medical treatment).
- Public liability insurance minimum of $20 million.
- Adhere to Standard PPE Requirements for Contractors working on behalf of Council.
- Adhere to Contractor Information Sheet - CCC is a smoke, alcohol and other drug free workplace.
- Acknowledgement of WHS Responsibility, Authority & Accountability Statement.
- Current trade specific licences and/or qualifications.
Once approved, Council will request the business to register with VendorPanel.
