Frost Reserve Skate Park
We’re delivering an exciting upgrade to the Frost Reserve Skatepark to better meet the needs of our growing community. The existing facility is ageing and no longer provides the space or variety that skatepark users are looking for.
The upgrade will significantly expand the skatepark from 200sqm to 750sqm, creating a modern, inclusive space with a wide range of features. Designed for skaters and scooter riders of all ages and abilities, the new park will offer more opportunities to ride, learn and connect.
Thank you for having your say on the new skate parks design
From March to May 2025, we invited local skaters and scooter riders to help shape the design of the new skatepark.
Engagement activities included design workshops, online, surveys for participants the chance to share their ideas and preferences for the new facility, and we ran further engagement on the draft design for more feedback.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Your feedback played a key role in designing an awesome skate park that everyone can enjoy. Your ideas helped us design a space that reflects the community's passion and needs, ensuring a welcoming and exciting environment for all users.

Amenities building, carpark and sports field lighting upgrades
In addition to the new skatepark at Frost Reserve, we are also undertaking significant infrastructure upgrades, encompassing the amenities building, carpark and sportsfield lighting.
New sports amenities building
Construction is underway and scheduled for completion by June 2026. The new 370m2 building will feature four change rooms, a club room, unisex toilets, an ambulant toilet, a canteen with storage, a referees’ room and large storage areas. This building will be located on the site of the existing skatepark, which was demolished in 2025. The current amenities building will remain in use until the new one opens.
This project is funded by the Australian Government.
Sportsfield lighting upgrade
This upgrade is planned for 2026 and will involve the installation of new lighting that will enhance the usability and safety of the sports field, especially during the winter months.
Collectively, these upgrades will improve the sports facilities at Frost Reserve, meeting the needs of Kincumber's growing community and supporting local sports groups such as Central Coast Football and Kincumber Roos Football Club.
Council remains dedicated to delivering and maintaining high-quality sports facilities that provide a range of health and wellness benefits for the Central Coast community.
Carpark upgrade
The upgraded carpark will improve safety for both pedestrians and drivers. Timing of works are to be confirmed.
